# REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

## 1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all rentals made through Flexy Car Rental LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By completing a reservation or making a payment, you (“Customer”, “Renter”) agree to this policy.

## 2. Refund Eligibility & Cancellation Terms
### 2.1 Free Cancellation — 48 Hours Before Pickup
If you cancel your reservation at least **48 hours before the scheduled pickup time**, you are eligible for a **full refund** of the rental fee.
### 2.2 Late Cancellation — Within 48 Hours
Cancellations made within **48 hours of pickup** may result in a **partial refund or no refund**, depending on vehicle preparation or allocation and operational costs. The exact refund amount will be communicated by Flexy Car Rental.
### 2.3 Same-Day Cancellation / No-Show
Cancellations made on the **same day as pickup** or failure to show up at the scheduled pickup time without prior contact are considered *no-show*.
In such cases, **no refund will be issued** and the reservation will be cancelled.

## 3. Refunds After Pickup
Once the vehicle has been picked up, the **rental fee becomes non-refundable**. Early returns do **not** qualify for partial refunds.

## 4. Security Deposit** (If applicable)**
A refundable security deposit may be required based on rental class, duration, and vehicle condition.
– Deposit is refunded after vehicle return and inspection.
– Refund timing: **3–10 business days**, depending on Stripe processing and bank transfer.
– Deductions may apply for damage, cleaning fees, missing fuel, additional mileage, traffic violations, towing or impound fees — if applicable. In such cases, a **detailed receipt** will be provided.

## 5. Reservation Changes / Rescheduling
Requests for reservation date/time changes are subject to **vehicle availability**.
If rescheduling is not possible, the cancellation policy applies.

## 6. Verification & Eligibility Failure
If the customer fails to pass required identity, driver’s license, or insurance verification before pickup:
– If verification fails **48 hours or more before pickup** → full refund of rental fee and deposit.
– If verification fails within 48 hours of pickup → partial refund or no refund, depending on costs incurred.

## 7. Weather, Emergency & Force-Major Situations
Refunds are **not guaranteed** due to weather, travel delays, or third-party issues.
However, Flexy Car Rental will assist with **rescheduling** when possible.

## 8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback, customers must contact us at **info@flexycarrental.com**.
We commit to respond within **24–48 hours** to resolve payment issues directly. Unauthorized disputes may lead to account restrictions.

## 9. Payment Processor & Fees
All rentals, deposits, and refundable charges are processed securely through **Stripe**.
Refunds are sent to the original payment method.
Please note: **original Stripe processing fees are non-refundable** — refund amounts cover only the charged amount.
Refund processing by Stripe and the bank may take **3–10 business days**.
